Where do you keep coming up with this garbage time crap? Can you get me into the coaches' meetings with you? That would be so cool.

Maybe.....just maybe he had a set back and hasn't had time to get on the same page as Drew.

He didn't get practice reps until around the third week of preseason and then that was with the second string. They're saying he really didn't get a chance to get first string reps and actually work with Brees fully in 7 on 7's and 11 on 11's until this past week. That's where you get your timing down. As soon as he sees the field (sounds like this weekend) I expect him to get his share of looks.

I'm not getting that either

Maybe he's still locked in on how bad Chicago's offense (trash maybe) was while Meredith was having back ups & tier 2 type QB's throwing him the ball?

That seems unusual for someone who had and entire offseason to learn. Let's get him in there and see what he can do!

Let’s check them high school grades of his may tell us real story

I don't quite get that read. The article's writer wrote something about the limited practice time hadn't given him the chance to pick up on all of the nuances of the offense. It sounds to me more physical and timing related. I would imagine it would take many repetitions in Payton's offense to be able to change offensive assignments based upon defensive alignments and to be on the same page as Brees on those calls. And then also have the timing down on all of those variations. From everything I have studied about Payton's offense, a given WR can have as many as three different routes on one base play and the defense would dictate which route is to be run. The timing is different, of course, on each different route. He needs to be on the same page as Brees since Brees is reading the same thing and anticipating where the WR is supposed to be at a certain count. This isn't something that can be accomplished in whiteboard sessions alone.

Meredith was about two weeks behind the other WR's in on field practice with Brees. This is basically Meredith's week one after four weeks of his version of preseason.

Personal: Born September 21, 1992, in Berwyn, Ill. ... son of Lonnie and Tonjua Meredith ... named to the honor roll every semester of senior year ... plans to major in sport management.
The real story is that Cameron Meredith was an honor roll student while lettering at QB for three years in high school.

Recent sound byte from Cameron. Key words he uses on returning to form ... "rhythm, practice, reps with the 1st team, timing".

Adrian Peterson has people spoiled when it comes to coming back from ACL tears. At least let him get healthy and play before you write him off.
