Let me start from the top: You claim that things you say often go over my head. That is incorrect. In fact, you often say things that make little sense and when I point out the inconsistencies, or just plain nonsense, of some of the things you say, you always claim that I just don't understand you. Your unwillingness, or inability, to clarify with anything that makes sense leads me to believe that you don't really know what you're trying to say.

Now that we've dealt with that issue, on to the next: You followed up your claim that what you say goes over my head, by telling me that you said Ali talked trash on national television in your previous reply... Yeah... Didn't I acknowledge that and tell you that I didn't respect the way he handled himself? How is it that you believe that went over my head? If you're going to insult my intelligence, at least bother to read what I said before you put your foot in your mouth.

And then what did you do? You showed a video of FAKE trash talking on a commercial and used that to make your point? Then you used video from a celebrity roast, of which trash talking is the whole point and is done in jest for entertainment? Really?... Really, man?

Let me put that aside for just a second and get back to the principle of the whole argument. I don't care how long trash talking has been around, and playful banter is a completely different type of trash talk. We're talking about people acting like teenagers on social media. It's petty.

The likes of Ali, I have no more respect for. That kind of nonsense is bush league, period.
Simply put, you have stated your measurement of acceptable behavior online. You also have shared your lack of respect for other relatively accepted forms of banter.

My problem is these are grown men acting like babies. This thing you call "culture" is a societal disease, right now. I didn't need you to inform me that this is what people do on their twitter. This isn't news to me. I simply have a problem with people airing their problems all over social media, and using words that make them sound like little kids having a fight over who's cooler. And, yes, their actions ARE hurting somebody... Themselves. They are embarrassing themselves. And the fact that they clearly don't care about that says a lot about them.

At some point, these guys have to get over it. And if they can't get over it then, as I said before, let your play do the talking. When one guy one ups the other, the guy who lost the battle should be motivated to do better, and the guy who won the battle should be happy that he did his job and just leave it at that.

But if even THAT isn't enough, at least be able to communicate in a way that doesn't make you look like a little brat. These guys look like bratty little frat boys.

Listening to you, you'd think I'm criticizing these guys for not being perfect, rather than for what they are actually doing, which has been a pathetic display of immaturity.

Making excuses for their behavior just tells me that you are like them. If you're proud of that, congratulations.
I kinda think both Kamara and Thomas are both players whose play does in fact do the talking. They can back it up on the field. Anything they say after the fact is their own business.
Oh, btw it wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was just a bit of public showmanship by the three of them. This game is entertainment. The players behavior is sometimes part of the show. Doesn’t hurt anyone and isn’t our business anyway. If you think it is then go ahead and tweet them and tell them how you feel.

My two cents is what they are doing doesn't do anything for good sportsmanship which is what we are supposed to teach our kids. What happened to winning and losing with humility and dignity? I never liked the grandstanding, look at me players. I hope that Thomas and Kamara don't evolve into that. Either way I don't tweet, but I hate seeing it on the news.

That’s just it though. They ARE kids. You can point at their parents for not teaching them sportsmanship but you can’t really blame the parents because they have been held down by white oppression.

I can't stand this lame, BS victim mentality. I'm a minority and was taught by my Dad that I'm only a minority in ethnicity, not in mental attitude. If you allow yourself to be oppressed that's YOUR fault. Quit being a P*ssy and rise above it.

Re: Micharl Thomas fined $10,026

OK, I'm not that huge of a fan of the S talking off the field (on it, I get it, it's a useful tool to throw off their opponent, get into their heads, it's just smart) I also feel the "they are just kids" defense is a little hollow with me. I was expected to act as an adult from high school graduation (earlier, really) no one made any excuses for my age, if I did something dumb, I was held accountable by work or the law. That being said, we don't know what S talk Norman or any of the other DBs from Washington said or did to MT during or before the game. Wasn't there a story about a WAS DB planning on denying Drew 200 yards? (moron!) I'm gonna keep my mind open as far as MT goes. Can't guard Mike, sorry he hurt anyone not on our teams feelings (Not!) my $0.02.

Is there anything relevant that happens on Twitter? It’s imaginary. It doesn’t exist.

I’ve gotten more entertainment from reading bathroom stalls at the Truck Magic Casino Stop. Much more creative and artistic.

The societal ill is people being selective about when they want to mind their business. Guarantee Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara still get the contracts they deserve if they continue to produce the way they have. This won’t hurt them in the slightest. YOU think they’re embarrassing themselves. Others are entertained. You might need to take a cultural competency class. Society isn’t monlithic, nor should it be. People don’t have to adhere to what you believe is the proper code of conduct. You just come across sounding like a hater. And if you’re proud of that, bravo.

But you’re right. I’m not put off by a 23 and a 25 year old showing themselves to be slightly juvenile in nature. They should be afforded the right to grow at their own pace like the real, college frat boys do.
