Besides the tight ends were kept in to help with pass protection against their pass rush because Payton was determined to pass on them...

Kills me when one my draft man-crushes comes back to burn my team...

Yes the only thing that disappointed me was:

The drops
Apple penalties
allowing dallas to blitz up the middle. Thats seems to be the blueprint to beating us now.

We may have to move Brees a few steps left or right

I just hope Ryan Ramz is ok.

I thought the officiating was bad (again) on both sides.

How do you miss all of these targeting/helmet to helmet collisions (Arnold & Kamara) when the zebras are 10 feet away from the play?

Again, not using the refs as an excuse but just an observation.

hey yall. first time poster, long time saints fan.

if there's one thing you can set your watch to it's that drew and sean will always have one stinker of a game each season. it just happens. if they just have one in them this season, we should consider ourselves blessed.

what made this one unique is that this was probably the worst game for every player on our offense sans kirkwood. credit to dallas, our o-line was bad mostly because their front 7 is really good. but skill players had just as bad of a night as brees. i'm hopeful that this will be a big time wake up call for the entire team.

Terrible officiating both ways. i feel like that just adds to the weirdness that is these thursday games. away teams are 3-11 in thursday games this year. i get that it's more money and more exposure but its sad that the league won't take into account the input from the people who actually have to play and coach these games. because they seem to really hate them.

strap in. it's gonna be a long week. ignoring sports media might be a good move. there are few things they like more than a cowboys win streak. its about to get really obnoxious.

the good news is we're back to being doubted. that seems to drive this team more than being on top. sean and drew have now faced another top defense, and there are even more lessons to be learned from this one.

Inconsequential game for us. I was very happy with our pass rush and disappointed to see Drew's happy feet make an extended appearance this game.

Next game.

There where way too many drops. To me that set the tone. Gave Dallas confidence and they hit the bully in the mouth for the rest of the game.

I think this may turn out to be a good thing in the long run. Takes the cheese off the table.

Hell of a first post. I agree with everything you said.
