Offseason needs

Who all is up for a new contract besides Thomas and Ingram? |

Re: Offseason needs
Apparently the Saints only offseason need is to kiss the Lillie white arse of Roger Goodell like Bob Kraft does...

Re: Offseason needs
Payton already said he’s not trading Armstead. He said that their isn’t a LT in the league that he would take over him. I truly think he means it so you can forget about that. We have to address the TE position first and foremost and then WR.

Re: Offseason needs
S, G, TE
We need to an impact talent at S. If it wasn't plays around the line of scrimmage, our S's are pretty much useless. Interior line depth who can take over in a year or so. A solid TE. I think Irv Smith Jr. would be a nice addition to our team on offense if we have a chance to nab him. |

Re: Offseason needs
The no call INT was really bad but the play that would have crushed it early on was the tasks punt. Everyone except the Saints is he’s realized it was a fake. Anyway, great season and on to the next one. We desperately need a Moore/Snead slot receiver whom we hope is Meredith. We really need a TE bad. That is a major weak spot. Not sure we can do a lot in the draft. I’m ready for another season. Doubt we’ll be the 1 seed but we can make the playoffs.

Re: Offseason needs
* Tre'Quan Smith needs to take a huge leap in his sophmore season.
* We need another weapon at TE. *Running game needs work. Don't know if its OL or RB but it tailed off at the end of the season. * Kick/Punt returner could be upgraded. * Another speedy LB. |

Re: Offseason needs
Don't flame me, but I'd include QB in there without hesitation.
I'm not trying to be negative, but Drew had a pretty crappy second half of the season if we are being honest. After not throwing a pick for around 8 weeks, he then throws a pick in like 7 straight games. Flip back to yesterday, Brees was missing wide open receivers all over the place, there were 2 consecutive third and long plays where he threw to a covered Dan Arnold when Tre'quan had come free over the middle with no defender, then Brees badly missed a wide open Ginn on the next play. Inside the 10, just threw the ball at Thomas feet which stopped the clock. His arm strength is waining and he's aint the gun slinger anymore, it's sad but teams play down more because they know we don't have much of a vertical passing game anymore. |
