Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Chargers DT Darius Philon. 25 years old and a native of Mobile, AL. Coming off a four sack season and plays the run very well. Could be a very good rotational piece with Onyemata.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
There's legit buzz of McCoy's offseason training association with Brees that if McCoy doesn't get a wow contract offer if released by the Bucs, he may do a short-term deal with the Saints...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Here’s a fun question...
The Vikings have only $7 million in cap space. TE Kyle Rudolph is going into the last year of his contract and turns 30 in November. The Vikings can save $7.62 million with no dead cap by cutting or trading him. Would you be willing to trade our 2nd round pick for him? |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Jesse James makes the most sense, and I like the idea of adding him to the three we have already...
And if we go with as few RBs as we had this year, we can keep a FB and a fourth TE for jumbo packages... |

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Free Agency
Rudolph? No because I believe a healthy Dez Bryant and Cam Meredith significantly upgrade our receiving options. Dan and Josh are good enough to have 2 big games that exploit a matchup enough to win. We don’t need an all star TE.
What we need is to fill Rankins spot and fix a still-leaky secondary. |
