Fans have no appreciation what he's been tasked - learning a new position, IN THE NFL NO LESS; as well as being asked to bulk-up, likely a minimum of 30lbs, IN LESS THAN A YEAR; and learn to be an in-line blocker!

So having four (4) TEs gives us different looks and match-up opportunities... |

According to... I think Seth Dunlap (not certain and I can’t dig up the tweet right now) there’s legit discussion amongst coaches about Trey Hendrickson starting over Davenport.

Re: 2019 New Orleans Saints: Roster Outlook
The thinking is Davenport will be brought in on 3rd and long from what I think I heard so being the starter might not mean much. They will be switched out often or, both in the DL. It's scenario based and less to do with Davenport is inferior.

Careful here. FWIW, Davenport looked good vs Jets 1's. |

32 - Devine Ozigbo (UDFA 2019
I re watched the Jets game ... Devine has soft hands out of the backfield. So fluid to say he's a rookie. In Sean Payton's offense ...that's huge. He is that guy some were looking for in Boston Scott last camp. If I'm the Saints RB coach, I can't cut Dwayne (s/t ace) or Ozigbo. They both bring value to the table. |
