Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft
Seems as though we are talking about two different receivers.

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft
Well, some of the criticism is warranted on Cam Meredith, but I wouldn't root for any Saint to fail...
My take is to put forth positive spin on Keith Kirkwood and Tre'quan Smith who're now one year Pros and will be much better healthier stronger this season. The rookies last year will have NFL conditioning, health care, diets, and nothing but football too focus... Another criticism of the Davenport selection I'd make has nothing to do with the young man, but the foolishness of putting that much on one young man's shoulders who's just... Played a full college season with many double teams and chip blocks, wear and tear with less than ideal support healthcare (see the turnaround in Alex Anzalone and that was a major school Univ of Florida... Davenport, among his peers are (suppose to be) putting time in with his studies), and then with no break from the reg season... Training, pushing at the highest physical level the limits of his body to maximize his draft position, again with little or no time for his body to rest recover, then thrown into the NFL? |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2019 Saints NFL Draft
WTF? This kid would've been an awesome get for us as CB depth, kicking game gunner & punt returner. Know the injury is not life-threatening for him, but WTF?!? Another promising NFL career interrupted...

Footnote - I wasn't aware Gardner-Johnson had a coaching relationship (called him coach AG in this clip) already established with Glenn? That's great. The kid from Idaho and Aliz'e could surprise us too. I'm elated with the Saints 2019 draft. |

That's my only memory of him from last year to be honest. |
