Re: Minkah Fitzpatrick
It's more that "multiple players have requested trades" though.
Imagine if 2007 and 2008 rolled around where we dont meet expectations and players like Colston, Bush, Jahri Evan's started requesting trades. I'd say pass, the fact that Fitzpatrick has requested a trade so early means he will give up at the first sign of adversity. That's what it looks like to me anyway. |

Re: Minkah Fitzpatrick
My point exactly. I don’t want players pissing and moaning because they wanna play with Labron. Then you have Lebron demanding they bring in the players HE wants. I don’t follow the NBA at all and have no intention to.

As irrational as it is, the hurt is real when your team is spurned, your values disrespected by a player(s). Yes, they're people too, often young, self-absorbed, enabled, and flawed... But you don't get a complete pass as an athlete when you're willing to take the money and the spotlight for fame, they too have to make sacrifices to their loyal customer base... How many here wouldn't change a spare tire and offer a meal inside their home for one of our Saints here? Hell, look at how many folks go out to MSY and welcome the team back - after a big loss!!! Well, if you want the public adoration, fame, as well as the coin those people give to make those contracts possible - players too need to to sacrifice, respect those good folks who support their NFL Life... |

Re: Minkah Fitzpatrick
Back on subject, if Miami were to accept a third and a player, for example Vonn Bell on a sign and trade, then working Over The Cap's figures, we could take on Minkah's first round contract...
Play Minkah how Bell's used, let Gardner push P.J. for the nickel, let Marcus play out his rookie deal at FS until, maybe Saquan could take over; extend Lattimore in another year - secondary would be pretty solid... All you'd need is an outside corner at Apple's spot should he find a better deal elsewhere, use your No. 1 pick there... |

That ship in Miami is on fire and I hope Flores can put it out.
