Thats is similar to what I heard also. We offered 4mil/yr and His agent threw a ridiculously high number out there...close to 7mil/year. After that we didn’t try to counter and that was that. Apparently the agent was lying about the offers that Ingram had and he was trying to use it as leverage.

Ingram sure is helping his team today by fumbling the ball leading to the giant momentum shift when Baltimore was down only by 7 points.
Don't know how many times I have to tell y'all this - running backs don't matter when your QB can't play at an above average level. See Barry Sanders, the GOAT RB for many people. How many playoff games did the Lions win with his amazing play? Walter Payton's one ring came in the ONLY season the Bears have an above average ANY/A and decent passing game. Ingram isn't going to lead his team to any playoff wins cause that is simply not how it works. Speaking of playoffs, what did he do for us in any of his playoff games besides get outplayed by Kamara in the last 4? Ingram was a complete non-factor vs the Vikings and Rams when we needed him the most. |
