Losing Ingram was just the dumbest thing we've done as a front office in forever

I wish him only the very best.
Thats is similar to what I heard also. We offered 4mil/yr and His agent threw a ridiculously high number out there...close to 7mil/year. After that we didn’t try to counter and that was that. Apparently the agent was lying about the offers that Ingram had and he was trying to use it as leverage.

This is my take: Mark started to believe his own hype, his agent believed it as well and they both went all in thinking he was irreplaceable. That body language can be seen walking away from every table in Vegas, someone went all in and lost. I will assume he terminated his agent because his agent did what an agent does, hypes you up and goes for big money.

This was Ingram's 3rd contract and he should have known better than to get blind sided.

A little history.. Mark Ingram terminated his agent in 2011 just before the draft. In April of 2018 he replaced his agent again.. Now you say a third time..?

This. Ingram made a big mistake.

Ingram sure is helping his team today by fumbling the ball leading to the giant momentum shift when Baltimore was down only by 7 points.

Don't know how many times I have to tell y'all this - running backs don't matter when your QB can't play at an above average level. See Barry Sanders, the GOAT RB for many people. How many playoff games did the Lions win with his amazing play? Walter Payton's one ring came in the ONLY season the Bears have an above average ANY/A and decent passing game.

Ingram isn't going to lead his team to any playoff wins cause that is simply not how it works. Speaking of playoffs, what did he do for us in any of his playoff games besides get outplayed by Kamara in the last 4? Ingram was a complete non-factor vs the Vikings and Rams when we needed him the most.
