Win or lose will not hinder the season. Remember, the hopes were that the saints could just win 3 games so Brees could carry us over, 5-0, let's ride this wave to the bye. What if brees do start and we lose. Don't need anyone going through the bye second guessing and if we lose with Bridgewater, the team will be just that motivated and hungry knowing Brees will be back under the center
It's his thing to condescend. I had a conversation with him about this topic a couple of weeks back. I have no idea whether Brees will be 100% healed by Sunday, and I won't claim to have any such knowledge. I would simply hope that if he is NOT fully healed, that they won't allow him to play because he is "good enough to go".
Guido's assumption was then, and still is today that Drew WILL be 100% if he plays. But there is no possible way to know that ahead of time, and yet he is quick to point out that nobody knows, and no one has spoken with the doctors... Duh. That's exactly MY point. And that's why we, as fans, are free to speculate and leave our opinions here. Otherwise, what the heck are we all doing in here? Of course none of our opinions "matter". I don't know how many times I've argued that condescending remark by reminding him that FOOTBALL doesn't actually matter. Sports, as a whole, do not matter, and yet, we tie ourselves up in it.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
