Even the best of DB's have a problem staying with a good receiver 30-40 yards down field if the QB has time to make the throw. Having more quality depth all across the defensive line is needed.
Malcolm Brown really disappeared down the stretch last season - in training camp he was wowing all the local media columnists...

Same thing he did when he was with the Pats. I wasn't one who loved this move in the first place.

To me it appeared Brown was more effective against the run than the pass. Wasn't that pretty much his forte?
