I'm very surprised Eric didn't get a "prove it" type of deal from any team last season. One would wonder if Berry would have had more "impact" on the secondary instead of repeated collapses on the back end? IMO Vonn isn't the safety the Saints need to move away/upgrade from. |

We'll see if that injury that has lingered since 2017 will have an effect moving forward. I call bullcrap on teams wanting him to play. They may have inquired, but he obviously knew he couldn't do it. Extra years on the body shouldn't help those matters. Vet minimum? Sure, why not give it a try preseason. We can always cut his injured self prior to the regular season. I wouldn't want to pull a Champ Bailey deal again.
