Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
Exactly. So judging him in either way until he has a greater body of work is pointless at this stage. I really would like to see him under C, but just like any (rookie basically) qb. he's going to have growing pains, Brees will be here this season I never thought he wouldn't, but if he gets hurt or starts blowing games with his arm I would like to see a mobile qb with wheels to keep plays alive behind C.

Re: 2020 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints
Go get a proven GUARD to protect #9.
I saw ANDRUS PEAT get blown up in the Pro Bowl yesterday, subsequent fumble from Cousins & guess what JJ Watt running the other way for 6. Saints MUST GET A GUARD who is good in pass protection & also understands blocking schemes. Preferably an above average one ... paging Brandon Scherff. It's time to get nasty in those trenches the way Carl Nicks & Jahri Evans used to do. Give Brees great protection and he'll slice you up. |

Maybe the Saints will consider Joe Thuney @ G.
He's solid at guard, durable and relatively young. IMO Joe is an upgrade over Peat. Could come a lot cheaper than Brandon (assuming he's out of the Saints price point) Scherff. |

I'm very surprised Eric didn't get a "prove it" type of deal from any team last season. One would wonder if Berry would have had more "impact" on the secondary instead of repeated collapses on the back end? IMO Vonn isn't the safety the Saints need to move away/upgrade from. |
