Re: Saints agree to terms with G/T Andrus Peat on five-year contract

Peat had two bad years due to significant injury and had a couple bad games everyone remembers because he faced elite competition. Personally I’m looking forward to watching the 26 year old reclaim his status as a top 10 NFL guard this season |

I would much rather have drafted a tackle who can play guard and will eventually be able to move outside when necessary.
The Pillsbury dough boy just netted a nice paycheck for spending all his time on his ass. He's soft! He was soft when he first came to camp and he was soft every single year since! I'm a little nauseous thinking about how bad our line looked when he was in the game. Poor Drew! It's possibly his final year and we gave him the same O-line that got him hurt and got thumped toward the end of the season. I'd be upset if I were him. |

Really don't when Incognito could do a better job for less money and draft a OG, makes no sense at all, money wise or play wise. If he's weak that's a chink in the armor. Upgrading lines are a must, battles are won or lost in the trenches.

Nope! I still think he stinks. Thanks though.
I'm sure he had input but not the final say.

I'm only going by what I've seen with my own eyes and it didn't look good. In fact he looked pitiful. I've never seen a pro football player that is so soft. He obviously doesn't work out like a pro or he'd be in better shape. Personally, I think he's lazy and won't put in the work on or off the field! |
