Great thing about Onyemata is his versatility and, yes, he'd make a great 1-tech...

Considering our injury history, I'd like to have that extra defensive lineman, but I really didn't see any gain with Malcolm Brown, considering what we paid...

Still fell we let the better player leave, for less money, in Tyeler Davison, who signed $12mil/3yrs vs Brown's $15mil/3yrs...

But Rankins' durability is just not a reliable quantity and this team is too close now to take that risk, and Onyemata is effectively taking on double-team, collapsing the pocket, Brown and Tuttle need to do their job...

That's the advantage of only drafting four players. The Vikings are in horrible shape with 15 drafted players. From every indication, however, Ruiz is really picking things up fast. His intelligence was one of the things that got him selected. He called all defensive alignments from his center position over his final two years and according to his coach he was correct on over 99% of those calls. That was one of McCoy's issues with the Saints this past season. I have a feeling Ruiz will end up with the center job before things are over. Although, I'll be happy with the two of them in those two spots in whichever order.

Yet, you are correct, there are very few, if any, teams in the league with more continuity than the Saints and that's what makes them the team to beat.

Bennie Fowler and Jameis both had good practices today.

Give me immediate gratification....as long as it's Saints football. No. I don't want to wait for any news. Give it to me now! I'm like a little kid in a candy store or even me in a cannibas store. :beatnik:

I want a cannabis store. I do, however, buy my CBD from Cajun Cannabis here in Bossier.
