All the reports I was reading pointed to the "ankle". Just glad AK is back to himself for 2020 & we also have a capable back #2 in L Train. |

Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints Training Camp
As do most NFL coaches if you haven't noticed. Why share information that you are not absolutely required to share? That would be counter-productive as a coach, no? I'll circle back around to arguably the greatest coach, undeniably the most successful, in NFL history, Bill Belechick. He makes Payton look like an open book when it comes to information. Things like severity on injuries should only be shared on a need to know basis and, regardless of how irritating, we as fans have no "need" to know. "Want" to know, yes. "Need" to know, no.

I'm surprised they even let us know after the fact. But, if I recall, that information came from the Kamara camp, not the Saints themselves.

But injury disclosure is required by the league so as to prevent NFL coaches, personnel from being compromised by shadier organized criminal gambling operations...
In addition, the argument that As do most NFL coaches if you haven't noticed was also the same argument used defending the Saints clubhouse teammate pool... Brian Urlacher even admitted to it on NFL Radio as did the Redskins' safety at the time the Goodell BountyGate Beatdown went down... |

Oh, by the way, Kamara's knee WAS reported on the injury report ... Kade Kistner November 6, 2019 5:23 pm ET The New Orleans Saints will host the Atlanta Falcons in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Sunday in a Week 10 NFC South matchup. This will be the first matchup of the season for the two bitter rivals. The initial injury reports published by the Saints and the Jaguars on Wednesday are the initial reports for the week. A second, updated report will be released on Thursday. The final injury report with game status for certain players will be issued on Friday. Daily changes in practice participation are noted in bold text. Running back Alvin Kamara has been absent from the lineup after injuring his ankle (during practice in Week 5) and then his knee (against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6). After two games of rest, and the bye week, Kamara should be ready to go. Tight end Jared Cook will be another playmaker to keep tabs on as the week progresses. Cook has been absent for the last two games the Saints have played, and should return to the lineup on Sunday. Re: 2020 New Orleans Saints Training Camp
Not to massively shock anyone, but the normally healthy Marcus Davenport has missed 5 straight days of practice.
Along with Kamara, Zach Baun, Cesar Ruiz and Malcolm Jenkins. Payton refused to comment on why they have not been present. |

Jenkins is probably leading a protest in Kenosha.
