Shopping for another RB with similar skill set as Murray doesn't make much sense to me. If Leonard is smart (cleared waivers & can sign with any team), he'll stay far away from New Orleans as possible if he wants 15-25 touches a game. That ain't happening with Sean Payton. Sure you can go find another RB however there aren't many who can do what AK can do. He's special. |

Re: Kamara is now holding out
I love what Kamara brings to the team. His agent is a tough cookie though and may walk him right out of New Orleans for bigger bucks.

Kamara is going to have to ball out this year to justify the contract he just got

Kamara's previous productivity is sufficient for the current top 5 RB market. So, he needs to do nothing more than what he's already done. A quick look at the numbers already shows that it's smoke and mirrors accounting anyway. It's a 3 year, $36 million extension with 2 extra years and $40 extra million tacked on the back end. Kamara will either never see, or will have to restructure that back end money. So it's $12 million a year, 3 year contract, which is still not breaking the bank for a top 3-5 RB. Just like everyone else, Kamara's key ability needs to be availability. Especially in the postseason. With both Murray and Ty Montgomery available, I hope CSP manages Kamara's touches during the season so that he can go and be special during the playoffs. SFIAH |

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good. |
