I stayed in near debilitating pain for another 2 weeks after the shot. I couldn’t really walk for 2 weeks prior to the shot, so I was down for over a month total. I’ve had a sort of numb feeling in big toe eversince. I couldn’t sleep. Went from 190 lbs to 170 lbs because I lost my appetite. It didn’t go away until my sister in law gave me roxicodone. I refuse to take medicine, but I was desperate. I finally started being able to sleep and the pain went from debilitating to just my normal back pain I’ve been dealing with since I was 18. That’s when I realized it can be extremely easy to get addicted to pills if you’re always in pain.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly misinformation spreads across the internet. So much of it is based upon blogs containing "what if" scenarios due to the lack of real news. They are immediately interpreted by a lazy portion of readers as based in fact who immediately share with like thinking friends or, even worse, embellish it more with their own interpretation. Remember the game in class where one person whispered a designated message in the second person's ear and it is passed throughout the room the same way? Remember that result?

I think rezburna can verify this, but I am fairly sure that ESI's are not that uncommon in athletes. I do know that they require obtaining from vigorous activities for a short period (a day or two at least) following the procedure ... and for some of the worried few out there, the last I heard was they do not lead to being traded.
