Now, after Gayle Benson visited practice, Sean Payton says they are actively negotiating an extension. I think they shopped him, nobody wants a trade right now, and Kamara realized that the Saints are his best bet to get "McCaffery" money next season if he performs uninjured this season.

Kamara practiced on Wednesday, which he reportedly hadn’t been doing due to an injury — or an “injury.” Coach Sean Payton confirmed that player and team currently are trying to work out an extension.
