And you know for a fact that Sanders ran the correct route??

What other route could he have supposedly run? It was a 3 step drop and Brees threw it straight to him without even flinching. Pretty obvious timing pattern. It’s not like he threw the ball out there and there was no receiver.

To cut inside and not outside! Cut inside and the defender is behind him, cutting outside allowed the defender to get between him and the ball.

Which proves Jason Whitlock's theory. Brees has been the general of the Saints since 2006. Most players would run through a wall for him. Now you have a handful of players calling him ignorant and not even giving him the courtesy of eye contact when he talks to them.

I wish he had retired prior to this season. I'd guess that he does too.

I don't like the way we are using Taysom this year. It just looks off. I'd rather see Taysom run off tackle on the option and have Kamara or Murray as the pitch-man. Or just have Taysom rollout like GB rolls out Rogers.

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD

Brees did not lose this game ... Strong arm ... no but his timing and accuracy was there tonight. The predictable situational Run Run -1% option pass with Taysom is so predictable in that situation it has absolutely no chance of success.

Same same for the call screen pass or any pass thrown behind the line of scrimmage on short yardage 3rd down rather at least try to throw the ball to the chains at least. If you don't complete the pass at least you tried to get the needed yardage, teams have so much film of SP tendencies chance of success are slim to none. Those 2 plays cost us any chance of winning this game.

Dennis Allen not accounting for the TE's and Jack Rabbit full on arm locks on his assigned receivers game after game ... Someone needs to be held accountable for these lapses ... can't keep doing the same thing over and over and expect a different result.

You all keep watching even though the refs make terrible calls that decide games etc. Just stop watching and having any roll caring. This way you can sit back, have a whole ton more time and you can laugh at a team when the lose.

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD

-No pressure from the front four.
-Horrible technique from the DB's in coverage. Grabbing. No ability/attempt to find the ball.
-J. Jenkins is not good.
-Complete inability to cover a TE.
-Davis is great. The other LB's are invisible. They want Anzalone to be the guy. He's not. It's time for Roberstson to get some snaps.
-No creativity in the run game.
-Brees does not trust himself and/or his receivers.
-Cook can't stay healthy.
-If the Saints had not have played Tampa in their first game, they would be 0-3. It's going to be tough going in 2020.
-Thomas has to come back healthy.
-Effort was there.
-Kamara is a beast.
-Murray is a very good downhill runner.
-Ruiz looked good. Although, and it could just be the number, he looked small at guard. If Peat is out, I could see Ruiz at center and McCoy at guard.
-Lutz is a beast.
