Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD
-No pressure from the front four.
-Horrible technique from the DB's in coverage. Grabbing. No ability/attempt to find the ball. -J. Jenkins is not good. -Complete inability to cover a TE. -Davis is great. The other LB's are invisible. They want Anzalone to be the guy. He's not. It's time for Roberstson to get some snaps. -No creativity in the run game. -Brees does not trust himself and/or his receivers. -Cook can't stay healthy. -If the Saints had not have played Tampa in their first game, they would be 0-3. It's going to be tough going in 2020. -Thomas has to come back healthy. -Effort was there. -Kamara is a beast. -Murray is a very good downhill runner. -Ruiz looked good. Although, and it could just be the number, he looked small at guard. If Peat is out, I could see Ruiz at center and McCoy at guard. -Lutz is a beast. |

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD
On the Taysom fumble, I believe it was Josh Hill who let the defender run right by him without even chipping him. Even just the slightest chip allows Taysom to properly secure that ball after pulling it back from the rb and that fumble doesn't happen. Too many missed assignments and undisciplined play is killing this team.

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD
What other route could he have supposedly run? It was a 3 step drop and Brees threw it straight to him without even flinching. Pretty obvious timing pattern. It’s not like he threw the ball out there and there was no receiver.

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD
Before the injury, Peat was bad.
Brees was sacked twice and a fumble. Both appeared to be missed assignments by Andrus. 11.5M per season for that? Hope the guy is ok with his ankle but he's a very underwhelming offensive lineman. AK and Demario were dawgs. I can't even laugh at Falcon fans. That's all I got. |

Re: Saints vs. Packers GAMEDAY THREAD
I don’t know why Payton refuses to stick to the run and I don’t know why this team looks so uninterested. I can’t put my finger on it. They defense seems flat and they are playing with terrible technique causing them to be out of position. Trey and Malcom are the only ones showing up on the D-line. Davis is the only LB we have and I can’t name any other ones except for Alex and he isn’t doing anything except for over pursuing plays.
It takes all the energy Brees has to throw a pass longer than 13 yards in the air it seems and his passes are off target when he has to put any velocity on them, even on the short ones. He just looks like he doesn’t trust himself when throwing down field. Kamara made Brees look good on paper but if you watched the game, there is still a lot to be concerned about. Then we have to play against the refs too. Aaron Glenn....can you please teach or work with these DBs on their technique?!?! They are panicking for no reason. Trust your skills and technique. Dennis Allen...if you keep calling blitzes that aren’t working and you see your DBs are struggling, why not change it up? His play calling is so predictable... |

I think the Malcolm Jenkins signing was asinine too. Apparently the TE is still the bain of his existence, at least someone on the board said it |

The TE’s were running completely free again last night ... personally the 6 DB thing with all its intended deception of the offense is more than likely the reason for these flat out missed assignments. Jack Rabbit is liability right now been has owned And his only defense is the arm lock special. Though on the last touchdown drive it was his only option if not for the desperation arm lock it would have been a touchdown. |
