Bahahahahaha. That's an opinion. We all have one and most stink. Those of you who don't car about football, why don't you just stay away? You lurk around waiting for something political to be posted before you come out from under your rock. Then all you do is complain about football now being political. The hypocrisy is real. All of you just want to argue.

Rez.....you're one of the most respectable people on this board. If being pro-American means being short-sighted and judgmental.....call me anti-American too, and piss on ya

Since they don't have football to watch they've just adopted a new sport ... beating a dead horse.

I'll agree completely on Rez's character. Outside of this forum I have come to know him and appreciate what he has contributed to me as a friend and confidant. He also outkicked his coverage in marriage.

Edit: Outkicked mine, as well.

I thought the goal was to "start a conversation?"

That's one of the more significant problems with the BLM movement. They don't want to hear your opinion.

What they want is to hear their opinion come out of your mouth.

I would much prefer that sports be a refuge from politics. IMO, it would be better for us all if that was the case.

But it's not, the athletes and now the leagues have gone all in. So, don't be surprised when people want to state opposing views where they can - in the case a message board. After all, the end zones and the courts are not open for all views.

What happened to you blocking me? Did you miss me?

I don't think you know what "hypocrisy" is. In order for e to be a hypocrite, my actions would have to my words. I'm not making sports political. The athletes have already done that. And when there is a discussion about that, sometimes I take part, sometimes I don't. If it's a topic that's relevant to me, I'm free to discuss as I wish. You can request the thread be moved to politics if it bothers you. That isn't my problem or my responsibility. This thread was about an article written about the Saints' destroying their team chemistry over politics. So if your little feelings can't take political discussion on this board, then you shouldn't have clicked on the thread after reading the headline. But you freely made the choice to enter.

Now, you'll just have to deal with it.

Speaking of being a hypocrite: "All of you just want to argue."... What do you think you're doing, pal? In reality, we were just discussing our opinions. When people like you show up, it becomes an argument. Because you're arguing. What's that saying? "It takes two to tango". If you don't like arguments then don't argue. Otherwise, you're a hypocrite.

And what I stated was more than an opinion. If you say patriotism is political, as if it's some divisive thing, then you're anti-American. Period. patriotism is about love of country. You don't have t love everything about your country. I certainly don't. But if you have a problem with patriotism, itself, then you hate your country. There's no grey in that area.

If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.
