Come on, Guido. Have a discussion without calling people these awful names for disagreeing with you. You are the poster that says you don't take anything personally and yet you end up being ugly in almost every thread. |

You said in another thread that if people block you for having a simple debate then that's their problem. But someone sees something different to you and you degenerate to name calling and accusations of racism? |

I'm still waiting for your answer. Why does it upset you so if it doesn't Brees? |

Re: Malcolm Jenkins
You knew the thread would head south but you posted it anyway. Why was that? The team has put it behind them and have managed to win eight games in a row and gaining the best record in the NFC while missing important pieces along the way.
Why did you feel it was so important to post a thread that was expected to go south as you put it? What was your thought process? |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Some of Brees’ teammates seemed to make it clear that his feelings about the flag and what it meant to him were less important than their feelings. Also implied he was ignorant and “didn’t know no better” because he did not support their actions; as if nobody who disagreed with them could possibly have an informed view. That doesn’t seem right to me.

Re: Malcolm Jenkins
Ignorant, yes. I don’t remember teammates calling him racist, no. One could say it was implied. But again, his initial statements were about his feelings and he was scorned for expressing them. Is he not allowed those ?

Yet some seem to stay fixated for some reason. If it mean nothing to those directly involved then why should it remain so disturbing to others? Perplexing, no? |
Re: Malcolm Jenkins
I guess I don’t see where anyone in the thread here expressed anything to say they weren’t over the situation. It’s just talk to fill up time between Saints games. And going back to the initial statements, sure Many players( Brees included) expressed their opinions, but Brees was the only one that was ridiculed for his and pressured by public opinion to apologize for the way he feels about his grandparents service. Let that sink in. He had to apologize for expressing his pride And feelings for what his grandparents did. Surely you can see where some fans felt put off by that- especially those who feel similarly as he does.
