Were you watching all those third and long conversion throws he made?

WTF were you then?

And the winning quarterback is - Taysom Hill (3-0)

Taysom man, you ruined a great passing day with 2 fumbles

Tayson has to work on ball security if he is our future at the position

He did pretty well. Looked good statistically. But damn Taysom...you gotta hold on to the ball. It should've been a blow out. Lol

You'd better see the trainer for all that butt hurt you got...

Saints won, Taysom Hill winning quarterback, and you get your arse handed to you for crying loss too soon...

Third start, he got the win, players rallied 'round him...

He'll only get better...

Call me a skeptic but I'm still not seeing him as the future for the Saints.

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread

If he's healthy enough then our HOF'er is the better option so yes. But I will say Taysom has proven a lot of people wrong. He sort of ran out of steam at the end but he's gaining confidence. I'm suddenly less concerned about him as a potential #1 for us next season.

I can’t take anymore of this. Guy fumbles, then Sean calls a run for him on very next play.

It depends really, because Brees turns the ball over in the playoffs quite a bit.

I don't think he's a dud. He played well today. But I do agree the fumbles have got to stop.

Hey that's fair.

He has a long way to go as a future starter in this league. Fumbles will cost you games though & in post season.

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread

Taysom looked great when the opposing offense couldn’t do anything and there was no pressure to score on every possession. Once the game got close it wasn’t so pretty.

That’s cause Payton gets away from the run too soon in the playoffs

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread

I thought the play calling in the 4th was bad on both sides of the ball.

Taysom was hot and cold, not a bad game, not good either.
Seems like the whole team feel asleep mid way through the 3rd.

Re: Saints @ Falcons Game Day Thread

I don’t think he’s the future either but I’m more optimistic about the possibility than I ever was before. Let’s see what kind of player he becomes once they focus on fully developing him at one position.

Some have sand in their vagina - you'd think we lost the game...

This team can win with Drew or Taysom - Saints Defense not at full strength, Kicking Game undermanned, Offensive Line missing Mr. Glass, Sean got cute - Just beat the arch rivals with nothing-to-lose in their house...

What's going on with Lutz?

I think he is. If the Saints choose to make him the permanent starter then so be it. I feel like im looking at a lower quality Bridgewater, whom alot of you just couldnt fathom being a starter here in NO. Taysom is cool, he's a dud because he only as good as Payton schemes him to be. He throws a pass with a lot of zip...lol ok so did Jay Cutler. I'm not convinced if yall are COOL. I'M NOT

Taysom is definitely playing better than 2 glove in Drew’s absence.

No one is going to be the future until they prove it, and that takes more than a handful of games to do...
