And with the win, the Saints-Falcons rivalry now stands at 51-53 and the Saints can pull even with another sweep next season...

Watching this Packers-Eagles game and Wentz has been sacked four times in the first half. D-Line is going to eat next week.

Was glad to see Shy Tuttle get in there and rattle Matt Ryan's world today...

Ryan Nielsen is definitely proving to be the defensive linemens' whisperer...

Tuttle's size and speed, he could take over when Malcolm Brown's contract expires...

Something is definitely wrong with Wentz now; reminds me of David Carr, Carson Palmer, Andy Dalton - just too many hits early on and then they're hearing the footsteps...

Agree. I'd bet that the Saints will see Jalen Hurts start next week.

Eli’s last year was prolly worse than them. I saw him ball up when the guy was not even close to sacking him. A o-line will make or break a qb

My guys? I can't remember the last time I've seen one of their shows. But, I guess we would have gone 20-0 with that logic without Brees, right?

On top of that, the Saints have won 385 games since their inception in 1967. The Falcons have managed only 369 since they started in 1966.

He’s in now. Wentz is benched.

So do the Saints game plan for Hurts now?

We clinched a playoff berth. I’ll just enjoy today for now. Today showed me just how important Davenport is. When he’s out the big plays and penalties in the secondary return by default. We didn’t generate near as much pressure today as we have been. Great job by our guys up front nonetheless.

I feel like I say this every week;

Demario Davis is just unreal.

I truly believe he's one of the best if not the best LB we've had since the Dome Patrol days.

I've never seen a guy just be so consistently good for us on defense.

Yet people were calling him unmotivated at the beginning of the season. He is a beast.

Since the Saints aquired Kwon Alexander (and maybe better play or coaching with M. Jenkins) Davis is back to his all world play. I love the man's heart.

The Dude,

There is not one person on this forum that said that about Demario.

Eagles are still in this game and the Giants are beating the Seahawks. This could be massive for the Saints.

There was. It was just one or two posters that said it. I don’t think they even took themselves seriously.

Is there another team in the NFL that is built to keep them in the drivers seat for the number 1 seed in spite of losing their HOF Qb for 3 or more games? I don’t think so.

Eagles get the ball back with almost 5:00 left and a chance to tie it with great field position.

And it looks like the Seahawks just pooped their pants.

Drat. It looks like the Packers held off the Eagles. They're still on the Saints heels. I wouldn't be so concerned if two teams from each conference got a bye but the 'rona screwed that all up. Saints just have to win out.

COVID had nothing to do with one team getting a bye. That was negotiated in the CBA to have seven teams from each conference and only one getting a bye. That was well before any of this COVID crap started.

Oddly enough, here in Packers country a lot of fans have turned on him these last couple of years. They’ve started to see that he’s a tool.

His commitment, love for the game is obvious; and, think about it, he was a Free Agent from the Jets. The Jets. He went from the Jets to the Saints. That's like getting a new lease on your career, life...

Tool, that would about sum him up. He appears to convey himself in such a righteous manner. Swag is one thing, but his goes past that point.

Happy to have put the Falcons to rest again. This is a great victory. Had a pit in my stomach in the 4th quarter, I allowed myself to resurrect feelings from Saints of many moons ago.

There was a play yesterday, Falcons first drive i believe it was.

Demario diagnosed the bootleg action and signaled to the right side CB to drop into the flat, sure enough P-rob did and he dropped Julio for no gain. Small play in the grand scheme of things, but that stuff used to absolutely torch us.

When everything goes well he has this smirk on his face but let someone not perform to HIS expectation it’s all eye rolls and head shakes. He is a arrogant narcissist tool. That what I see coming through the TV and appears I am not alone. Philly’s defense last night made this guy look like a all star, most of his completions where into blown coverages. He made some good throws but good God am I tired of all the talking heads MVP MVP MVP ... I think he plays a good defense he does not look the MVP Blah Blah Blah.

Side note ...

Gregg Williams ran a cover 0 with 13 seconds left and cost his team a game vs Raiders.

Just read they fired him.

The Jets are a absolute MESS.

Reminds me of the crap defense he called against the Niners in the playoff game.
