Gage was all-world on that Falcons TD drive. The Saints defense is really good.

It's a shame that Hagan isn't around to see it.

Taysom deserves some of the blame for the collapse at the end of the game, but Sean Payton's play calling became really predictable towards the end.

That's my point. Lesser Saints teams in the past wouldn't have won with all those liabilities going into this game...

Marshon Lattimore (C-)…

Gotta get it together and play more consistent ball at corner. I understand Ridley is a big time WR but it appears Marshon only brings his A game vs Mike Evans.

It’s prolly cause he hates evans with a passion is why he balls out

He needs more hate in his life, then. He should hate every player that he goes up against.

I dont recall too many playoff losses IF any where the game came down to the end and our offense was the last one with possession and Drew xost us the game....correct me if I'm wrong and Im not counting the possession after the no call against the rams

He throws a pass with a lot of zip...lol ok so did Jay Cutler. I'm not convinced if yall are COOL. I'M NOT

That's cool man. People have different opinions. idk if he's the guy to take over as Drew's replacement. But he's a backup QB right now. And showing progress.

I think sometimes people get ahead of themselves here. Hill is a backup QB. One that really hasn't played a whole lot at the position in the regular season. That's how I'm judging him. Lol.

I don't judge Taysom as Drew's "replacement" or even eventual replacement because I have no idea if that's what's in store for him. He's a backup QB that's starting some games until Drew gets back.

I feel like a lot of people are looking at him in the wrong light.

I like him and I think he's fun to watch and cheer for. But he's still just a backup right now.

Last year against minny we abandoned the run too soon and played right into zimmers hands

Playcalling changed as well; why are we running wide jet sweeps with Kamara?

And why were we not using Murray more when their defense was obviously tired - Murray would have wore that tired arses out...

One playcall I really liked, Jared Cook missed on a pick play and Thomas was unable to break free for the first down...

Get being unpredictable, but Sean's playcalling gets too far out of character for what's working in the game...

I'll show em how to perceive beyond his perspective. While you at JeanClaude show Taysom how to hold on to the ball.....if you going teach anybody anything that needs to be your first student

Last year we were up with a chance to win a needed a stop....My point is Dizzle fears turnover Brees showing up....I fear playoff saints defense showing up

We won bottom line ... Taysom had a few really Poor throws ... the most obvious he missed Cook in stride threw the ball behind Cook almost directly to the defender. Looks good looks bad then fumbles hope it all comes
together sooner than later.

Me too, that’s why I haven’t given DA a pass yet. But I’m more afraid of playoff play calling Payton than Brees

Philly is up on Green Bay; Philly needs to run on the Packers and get after Rodgers on the pass rush...

It would be a HUGE boost for the Saints if the Packers lose today.

Coming to realize that's just who Sean is and he's not going to change; he'll regret missed opportunities later...

But in the moment, Sean wants to call a play that everyone will cheer him as the smartest guy in the room...

What he still hasn't figured out, it's football, not rocket science...

I used to have high hopes that Sean would ascend to Bill Walsh level - but he lacks Walsh's humility...

Yep. We still have to go through Philly and we've got the defending champs getting all their guys back right about the time we played Frisco a season ago...

Got to break the cycle...

So, true. Style points don’t matter in a win. Hell him winning with Teddy and Taysom shows he’s a hell of a coach. But as you said he’s gotta out think everyone

We may not agree but I feel like Payton is only behind Belichick as coaches go. We could argue that maybe Tomlin and Harbaugh are better but I'd still take Payton.

I agree, ice. Payton is given far less credit than deserved by a growingly spoiled fanbase.

You may be right. Ruiz has been dealt a crappy hand this season. He’s supposed to be playing center (hence why he’s wearing a # in the 50’s) but Payton doesn’t think he’s ready yet. So he’s playing a position he never played and struggling.

This might be our optimum lineup right now...

LT (2) 72 - Terron Armstead, 74 - James Hurst (FA 2020)

LG (1) 78 - Erik McCoy, 75 - Andrus Peat (FA 2020), 66 - Calvin Throckmorton (PS 2020)

C (2) 51 - Cesar Ruiz (R1P24, #24), 63 - Cameron Tom (PS 2020)

RG (1) 62 - Nick Easton, 64 - Will Clapp (PS 2020)

RT (2) 71 - Ryan Ramcyzk, 73 - Ethan Greenidge

Apparently Hendrickson was credited with that sack that we thought belonged to Jordan... putting Hendrickson at 10.5 sacks this season!
