Why not? 236 rushing yards and 2 TD's is solely on the defense.

The high-powered, Saints offense can’t score 25 points? Taysom Hill’s two turnovers and those two missed field goals killed this game. For all those rushing yards the Eagles weren’t really controlling the game because of it. The time of possession was about equal. The bulk of Sanders yards came from one play.

Saints driving down the field to take the lead or tie and Taysom fumbled on 4th and 2 with Michael Thomas wide open. This put the Eagles at close to the 50...but I guess the field position don’t matter. Defense supposed to bail us out of everything.

On the field tired because the offense is going 3 and out and throwing interceptions that put the Eagles damn near in the red zone. #1 defense still held them to a field goal though if I’m not mistaken. Only for the offense to punt after 6 plays the next drive.

Hurts averaged 5.6 yards a completion. You can’t sack somebody getting the ball out after his first read.

They got stops when they needed stops.

Offense and special teams failed them.
