Defense didn’t execute containment, especially in the first half and the offense didn’t arrive at the stadium until the 2nd half.

The entire team looked flat. Taysom had a bad game but obviously we started the best QB available.

Plenty of blame for this one. I’d say the Eagles were better on Offense, Defense, Special Teams and coaching. I personally hate the term, but turned out to be the classic trap game.

Offense, Defense, and ST’s left points off the board last night, there was good and bad in all three. The win was there for the taking, but all three phases of the game contributed to us getting an L instead of a W.

On to KC.

The OL had a bad game. Hill didn't have the time to throw to those open receivers. They sacked him 5 times including the blindside strip sack on 4th and 2 which was a bad playcall by the way. Lot's of blame yesterday. Sanders long run was due to an undisciplined Kwon who tried to run around the backside for the tackle instead of filling the hole like he was supposed to. Peat was beat twice for sacks, Armstead gave one up as well but will count that towards not being full strength due to 2 weeks of covid. Dline didn't contain either with the ends crashing down inside allowing Hurts to escape outside. All around bad game by everyone.

While that is true, no doubt about it, a very good argument could be made that CJGJ’s inability to put two hand’s together with a ball in the middle cost us “big time” also. Only an on the field heart attack would have stopped him from scoring. We could also say that a wide open Sanders trying to stretch for an TH#7 overthrown ball cost us “big time”. The win was there to be had my friend, the team just didn’t take it. All three portions of it.

The missed Sanders didn't cost us because the next play was TD to Cook

Re: Wtf is up with Lutz???

Team loss. EVERYONE performed poorly.

From the Head Coach on down.

But for me, the loss was concerning because we were handled by one of the worst teams in the league. We aren't in week 3. Saints had no killer instinct (see Bills game last night) from the opening whistle. A team with nothing to play for is dangerous.

Watch how poorly Jalen performs on next week.

I’m not blaming CJG for making a stop and forcing a punt only for Taysom Hill to drive down the field and fumble on 4th and 2. It’s not the defenses responsibility to put points on the board, that’s just a plus if they do. Up to that point it was:

Eagles punt.
Saints TD.
Eagles punt.
Saints TD

CJG gets a big stop on 3rd and 5 regardless if it was intercepted or not and forces a third straight punt. The offense failed to produce when it mattered the most. Even a field goal in that situation changes the game. But nah, fumble. Not to mention...this is a mobile QB. MAKE TIME. ROLL OUT. SCRAMBLE. FORCE THE DEFENSE INTO ZONE COVERAGE AND THEN PICK IT APART.
