Dawg.

His approach and mentality to the game is impressive.

I came away impressed with all 11 guys on defense against the champs.

IMO we have a Super bowl caliber defense.

CJGJ and Peat returned. Trey, Marcus and 3Quan didn’t return.

I believe that Peat is one of our problems on offense. We are better without him. We've had injuries up and down the line and have not built continuity which spills over to the rest of the team. Ruiz is a little undersized to play guard. He isn't very tall and that lower center of gravity helps him control those big boys in the middle. He's still pretty young and he has plenty of room for growing in an NFL weight room. Mc Coy is a bit of a mauler and will be a solid guard next year.

Edit: Trequan just drops too many balls, doesn't get separation and still seems to be missing the "it" factor. Maybe he'll be better when he comes back.

To me, Davenport is just a waste of draft picks.

In a game where you desperately need the players you spent a hefty amount on to step up, he just withered.

Hendrickson and Granderson were hitting or sacking Mahomes any chance they got. Whereas Jordan and Davenport were invisible whenever they were on the field. Once again, Jordan couldn't beat a 3rd string Tackle and got himself ejected.

Mahomes broke Davenports ankles repeatedly

I think Jordan is still great. Every time I saw a replay he was being obviously held and got zero calls from the refs on it. That's why he lost his cool and swung. He was wrong for throwing hands but I get it.

I think they are at the point where it’s not an opinion, it’s a fact. Can’t believe I’m saying it but they are.
Mahommes looked like he didn’t want to be there anymore midway through the 4th. I think you will see him on the injury report.

What did we do?
We stop KC in their first possession.

Run AK for 5 yds
Brees with 2 incomplete passes
punt

We stop KC again on a 3 and out

Brees incomplete
AK for 5 yds
Brees picked off

KC goes 30 yds for an easy TD

Drew started 0/6 with a sack and 1 INT

Sean Payton lost this game before it started. Drew was rusty and should have stayed on the bench, but even with him playing we had success running the ball. Run the ball and play good defense, we don't have the QB to win 30+ point games. If Sean doesn't wake up to what this team really is GB will beat us this same way a month from now.

Bingo

Understand how you feel about the offensive play calling ... My take means as much as yours ... if we had the Oline to run consistently we would. We can’t gain separation with 1 wide receiver and play fake with full backfield and Brees not able to stay in the pocket for 3.0 seconds. When we spread the field we force the defense to commit to either man to man or zone and that when Brees was successful.

Cooks, not sure what the issue is but if he doesn’t turn the page soon he will be replaced by Johnston. That little ditty with Brees 4th qtr Brees called out the hot read at the line and Cooks blew it. Happens but but his interaction with Brees ... that a problem.

Bottom line coaches coaches and we Monday morning Quarterback.

Not having Mike Thomas was huge.
