Re: Saints again start slow, sloppy with comeback falling short; here's what happened in Chiefs loss
Sloppy. I also had no idea we were missing most of our receiving corp. Now many players on defense went injured. I hope we can turn this around.

Losing 3quan hurt us as well.
I'd be open to bringing in a vet who can get create separation like Kenny Stills. Juwan, Taysom and Humphrey isn't gonna cut it in the post season at WR. |

You would think we would be on the phone with Stills last night.

We can look at the positives. We had no receivers, Brees looked rusty as ****, and yet we still almost won. If w were healthy, I'd feel good about facing them.

Re: Saints again start slow, sloppy with comeback falling short; here's what happened in Chiefs loss
I said it before, during, and I’ll say it after. What I would have done:
Drew Brees should have either not been under center or limited to 15 passing attempts for the whole game. Three weeks left him with some rust and timing issues that was only compounded by having to put receivers on the field that he had no timing familiarity to begin with. Drew provided no value. The theme of the day should have been to run it down their throats. That would have worn their defensive line down and eliminated an interception allowing us to keep up in the 3rd Qtr which is where they took off (as predicted). Our defense played spectacularly. Our offensive game plan was made in preseason, 5 seasons ago, without any adjustments for game time elements. We consistently omit the 1st and 10 play with a garbage play call. |

SP made Reid's job easier by starting Brees.
With Brees playing the Chiefs didn't have to worry about the deep ball and a mobile QB. Hill should have started and if he shyt the bed pull him and put Brees in. I will put this out there, if Brees had not been coming off of his injury the Saints would have won. |

Offense played 55 snaps... defense played 98. The defense practically played two games yesterday compared to the offense.
