Sean Payton lost this game before it started. Drew was rusty and should have stayed on the bench
Only way to get rid of the rust was to play him. Rust doesn't some off completely in practice. Drew definitely started badly but he was back to form in the second half. Only goes up from here.

It was necessary. Second straight game of horrible play calling though.

That 2 min drill offense from Brees was surgical though.

Bro yall crazy as hell if you think Taysom was going to perform better passing the ball against that defense. Taysom could barely make it work with the starters, He would have been better without Thomas or Trequan?...The Chiefs defense played well and our offense was depleted Drew best game? No worse game? No. This wasn't a Brees wtf are you doing game.

Saints fans are spoiled as hell. Big Brats when Drew doesn't play perfect. Anything less and his head is called for. Everyone had all this patience with Taysom who hasn't proven anything. Taysom lost to the then back up QB now starter in Jalen Hurts and the Eagles who aren't in the playoff hunt as of now. Drew back off injury loses to a former MVP and and reigning super bowl Champs and we should have started the other guy? Make it make sense Taysom literally CANT make some of throws and decisions Drew had to make. Humphries, Johnson, Lewis and Taysom? would have beat Mahomes and the Chiefs? OK 👌 lls

The offense started badly dropped passes missed blocking assignments, no separation, no trust. Holding the ball too long.

I will never understand not calling more plays for Trautman. I really think they need to exploit defenses with him and cook.
