Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
He’s horrendous in pass coverage. That’s why the Saints were so active in trading for a linebacker. They brought Alexander in for a reason. Anzalone doesn’t even rotate in the game now that Alexander is here. He’s horrible. As soon as he comes in bad things happen.

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
We need Hendrickson and Malcom Brown back. If our D-Line can get back to full strength and our secondary stays healthy we may be able to survive. If we have to play more dime then so be it.
The fascinating thing to see now will be how we handle Kwon’s contract situation in the offseason. He has a $13.4 million cap hit next year with no dead money if released. He’s a perfect candidate for an extension to keep him around and lower the cap hit, but this injury complicates matters. |

Gardner hits like a LB at times.

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
I just want to say that he's my sub LB on Madden and he wrecks there.
![]() I'm not exactly the biggest Anzalone fan but he's been pretty consistent all year... better than Kwon as some have pointed out. The difference IMO is the energy Kwon brings which isn't measured in stats. |

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
Stats aside, I noticed a marked improvement in the ENTIRE defense when Kwon came aboard. PFF can't measure that. It also leads me to think Anzalone's teammates possibly don't trust him.

Saints need to find a capable back up in case Alex goes down as we enter post season. I love Craig R but he's too slow and nothing more than a special teamer at this point of his career. Demario won't be able to roam now that Kwon is out. |

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
And how did you come up with that stretch of a conclusion? Perhaps it had something to do with facing four straight abysmal opponents in his (Alexander's) first four games (SF, ATL, DEN, ATL).

Re: Kwon Alexander Torn Achilles
It’s a wrap was hoping he would be healthy so we could get him cheap next year
