Me too but I think Jerry and Stephen will make it right on contract negotiations this off season.

He was having a MVP type season before the unfortunate injury.

Yea; in 2022 or 2023. Brees is the best option Saints have to get into
the year end playoffs for the next year or two.

Hell Rez, put a 9 in the place of the fleur de lis on the 50, as long as he doesn't step on that field in pads again.

It's cheesy as all fk but I will say it anyway, you dont get that 'eye of the tiger' when the starter is comin back in a few weeks, none of our backup QBs have felt that defining "I have to do it because there is no one else"...

He overcame the odds. I hope he can do it one more time. With all the **** in the off-season, the injuries, and the decline in play it would really be a story for the ages if he can bring it back home one last time.

I could be completely wrong of course, but I just don’t see him retiring without playing in front of Saints fans again and giving them a chance to give him the send-off he deserves.
