My post had nothing to do if he walks really or not. Just something to show if he does the option is in place to not eat all the dead money in one season.
Personally I think if he does walk you try to eat as much as you can in one year and use the year to rebuild asap to set up long term success. But that's a story for a different thread. The team cannot afford to not be looking at the possibility he doesn't return though.
