2022 NFL Free Agency: New Orleans Saints

Three (3) moves I'd like to see the Saints get done in Free Agency:

Sign/Extend FS Marcus Williams
Sign a WRz (e.g. D.J. Chark, Christian Kirk, Will Fuller)
Sign all our RFAs/ERFAs

If the right QB prospect fell to us and with the best value...

In the first round, I'd really like to to draft an uber RT and allow Ramczyk to take over at LT...

Latest mock I shared earlier on the Draft thread really would be an ideal draft scenario for the Saints that'd have me Farmer Fran'ing...

If we sign one of those guys and can't call Mike comes back healthy we have an above average receiving core. Callaway and company could easily hold down the number three and four receiving spots. Fingers crossed that we can retain Harris. I would draft or bring in a young player with more than just potential to compete with our current TE roster. When Taysom plays that role he's pretty good too.

With the new coaches on offense and with whoever the new OC is we might go with the RPO option, which opens the competition, rather than another in the pocket passer like Drew for all those years. Payton is gone now and we are looking at a new leader to help bring home another Lombardi.

DJ Chark Jr., Allen Robinson, Chris Godwin, Juju Shuster, Mike Williams.

Saints need to be aggressive here. Average joes = average results.

I was high on Michael Gallup before the injury (torn ACL) but I have a feeling Jerrah will take care of guys who put in work.

Quite possible he may end up re signing with the Cows.

Good selection for FA WR's. Chark would be my 1st pipe dream but might overprice himself, I personally could go with any of the other up there but I really like Goodwin and Williams also. Going to see what type of O Allen has instore.

This is truly an amazing time to watch how our Saints move forward from Payton.

No idea if/when the league will hand down a suspension on AK however ...

KC Chiefs RB- Darrel Williams becomes a FA next month.

Capable starter however with the emergence of Clyde Edwards-Helaire & McKinnon, Darrel has fallen down to #3 on the depth chart.
