We could always continue getting the band back together and trade for Brandin Cooks on a cap friendly sign and trade deal enticing him with more guaranteed money...

Cooks opposite Thomas would be pretty imposing on opposing defenses...

A 29 year old Cooks back in NOLA, huh? I guess he could certainly keep that safety honest...

Russell Gage (Falcons UFA) could fill the slot and I think he's just scratching the surface on production. Could be a cheaper option? Then could use the draft for mid round WR.

I would love this move.

With simple restructures alone we can get to around $20 million under the cap. Add another $10 million by releasing Roby and then with a few extensions we can easily get to around $35 million in free cap. Of course, keeping Marcus Williams will cost some and we'll need to reserve $5 million or so for rookie contracts. There's no reason why we can't dabble in the FA market a bit.

No reason at all since the cap doesn't matter, eh little speedo? Let's sign Rogers, Wilson as his backup, Deebo...who else? Maybe we can coax Deion out of retirement and let Marcus walk? Ah hell lets sign him too!
