The Saints not politics is our common ground!

After reading the various threads dealing with the Presidential election, I have noticed one thing... Division among us on this site.
This is a New Orleans Football site. Yes, we do talk about other things here, but Religion and Politics should be two subjects that should be avoided. At all cost.
I know why JoeSam and many others love this site so much....it is because of the people that make up this site. Yes, we are different but the one common ground that we share that does make us one "Party" is the Saints and this site.
Many of you on here and that are reading this now, I consider my friends. The rest are my Saints family. I could care less what political party, church, color of your skin, or what peanut butter you prefer. I care about the fact that we love the Saints and have struggled through many years of turmoil...TOGETHER!
I have my own personal beliefs, and I do not expect any of you to agree with them. Don't expect anyone else to agree with yours. Hell, we don't agree on the Saints....but what you don't see is a potential wedge of hate for one another when we disagree about the Saints.
Please people, I beg you. Do not drive a wedge between us. I love this site! I am on this site almost everyday and have watched it changes so much (for the better). Please let's keep it the great site that made us join it in the first place.

Great post. I am not a big poster on here but have been a member for several years now. This is my home for "SAINTS" news, opinion, and debate. Most of the folks on here don't even know me but I feel at home here. B&G continues to grow and get better. good call, ive been to most of the big name saint sites and this is the best by far. though we disagree no one ever calls anyone out or acts like a total dbag. thats all that happens on the other sites, its quite childish.
expecting others to agree with you is a waste of time anyway....im good with everyones opinion, its good for thinking outside the box....that is as long as no one likes that peanut butter that already comes with the jelly in the jar......gross!Posted 11-18-2008 at 12:32 AM by WVSaint
