Besides, he was probably tired of everybody saying he was a bust, when if they would have used him right we wouldn't be having this discussion. If you hire the second-best (arguably best) man-press corner in the league and then make him play zone, he will probably fall off (and he did). Ron would use him right, and with Keenan locking down the other side, I don't think he'd be as sullen here.

Plus, anyone remember reading Payton's book about the bus being egged in Philly? There's much better places to eat lunch in NO than in a parking lot.

And now Asomugha is interested in the Saints. Matt Maiocco of CSNBayArea.com reports that Asomugha will visit the Saints on Sunday. As recently explained, the relationship between Asomugha and Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan could be a huge factor. “[Asomugha] loves him and trusts him,” a source with knowledge of the situation recently told PFT. The Nnamdi-Ryan connnection, which traces to their mutual time together in Oakland, nearly resulted in Asomugha joining the Cowboys in 2011. At last word, Asomugha was in “serious discussions” with the 49ers. Other interested teams include the Cardinals, Broncos, and Texans. |

Nnamdi Asomugha to visit
Free agent CB Nnamdi Asomugha will visit the Saints on Sunday.
Asomugha is leaving his 49ers visit, but they remain in the hunt. Asomugha, 32 in July, played for new Saints DC Rob Ryan from 2004-08 while with the Raiders. Even after signing Keenan Lewis last week, New Orleans is still looking for more pieces. The New Orleans Times-Picayune thinks one of Patrick Robinson or Jabari Greer could be released.
