I loved watching the Honeybadger during his ball hawking LSU college days & would welcome him here but the best thing for that kid might be to get as far, far away from N.O. as possible. A pocketfull of dough and the same knucklehead influences could spell disaster long term. Just my opinion...

I agree but at the same time....all of these infractions happend while he was on campus in BR.....it seems to me he needs to stay away from LSU more than N.O.

I get the thinking....its just bad influences are everywhere not just in the place you grew up in. I still think they shoule draft him if he's available in later rounds....at some point the whole "good for the lockerroom" schtick doesn't bring in enough actual talent for you to win. Sometimes you have sacrafice to win and take a chance on a knuckle head or 2.

We reported yesterday that the New Orleans Saints are interested in free agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is pushing the Saints to sign Asomugha.


Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan is believed to be making a big push to get Nnamdi to New Orleans, per a source with knowledge of Asomugha’s situation.

Ryan is familiar with Asomugha from their time in Oakland together.

But is he a good teammate? He reportedly pointed the finger to his teammates when coverage broke down...
