Mask, No Mask.

I am 68 and took being at risk seriously. Was sent home to work almost a year ago. In my case wearing a mask and following all the protocols did not work.

My wife and I ALWAYS wore a mask and not under the nose either, we WORE IT. Maintained the 6' distance used hand cleaner after leaving any public establishment. The only time we went without a mask was when we went out or were with our daughter. Thankfully neither contracted it.

Ditto. And continuing to do the same today.

Speaking of discipline ... haven't seen this many flags since I visited Mount Rushmore. Poor Chiefs.

Re: Saints Facing More Discipline

I just tested positive for the Covid antibodies. I was so sick I was making out my will and preparing to be in a mental fog for the rest of my life. I thought I was developing dementia. I was in a car wreck and had whip lash from it but I hurt all over so badly from the Covid I didn't realize they were two separate incidents. I have what is called long haulers where the symptoms just don't go away but stay with you indefinitely.

I wear a mask and still got it, most likely it was New Years day doing the annual Polar Bear dip at the Flora-Bama. I lived a full life before but I'll never be the same again. Sure, you might not die from Covid but you might not have a full life anymore. Please consider wearing a mask and social distancing.

EDIT: I'll never be able to ref rugby again...that is just devastating to me.

It was less than a year ago that the same experts who are now telling people to wear two masks were telling people that not only was wearing a mask not effective, but that it was actually dangerous.

Now some of those experts are telling the public that they intend on scheduling the vaccination of children (which is hardly following the science).

Experts told the public that it was okay for people to assemble in mass if it was for the correct political protests.

Certain states have mandated such arbitrary restrictions as limiting travel within the state, effectively prohibiting people from living the densely populated areas for homes they own in isolated rural areas. And told people that they had to limit the number of people on a boat to four, even if the fifth person would be someone who lives in the same home.

The point is -- there are legitimate reasons why people do not trust what they are told about this damn virus, so you may want to rethink whether people are "too ignorant to understand" or whether those who control the narrative have lost credibility.

Considering my wife was in charge of infection control at a major hospital system and has ongoing communications with many very much "in the know", I'll trust the sources I know that know best.

Interesting. I already knew that, although not a lawyer, she is a legal expert.

In any event, I am glad for you to wear a mask -- or not wear a mask. The point is that other people may have wives who tell them to do something different than what yours tells you. I don't feel the need to say they are "too ignorant to understand."

Well damn rugs, glad your still here bro. 14 days ago my neighbor who was 79 across the street was busy as ever pulling winter weeds out his flower beds walking his pup around the cul-de-sac religiosity , today he’s dead buried him yesterday, left a son who is a priest , a daughter a nun stuck in Germany because borders are shut there. We often spoke of this virus he and his wife were scared to death of the thing , he was on cumidon if I’m spelling it right for a blood problem, they were so active in the church , his wife counted the money after Sunday mass, I warned them to just lay back if they could , it wasn’t to be they both came down with COVID and there son the priest also . Well my busy as a bee neighbor is gone. It’s a *****
