He's way too predictable as a play caller.

Just my random thoughts but hey, I'm just a couch coach/GM .
Is there a place to register for the couch coach/ GM course? Is it online?

Music to my ears... Tank the next season and then start the next season after that with high draft picks, expensive contracts off the books and a new staff running things

How do you propose we tank when all of the coaches and players will be working their asses off to win as many games as is possible? That concept has always befuddled me.

Personally, I'd rather see us kick ass next season and make a deep run in the playoffs. To each his own, I guess.

I thought it was clear, but to explain it to you... I don't expect the players or coaches to deliberately lose, but if the talent isn't there on either side of the equation, then it follows that they'll lose more games then they'll win.

The premise was that Hill as the QB and Carmichael as the OC wouldn't work, which I stated would be preferable to a 6 to 9 win season with Carr and no chance to advance in the playoffs.

I'd personally rather see the Saints win the SB within the next decade, but to each their own I guess.

Why is Carr getting cut taking so long, literally up to the last minute? Are the Raiders that ticked off at him?

It would have been hilarious if there was a technical issue and the Raiders didn't get their cut in on time.

I honestly can't understand why anyone expects LESS wins than we had last season. We had a backup QB virtually all season long playing behind an offensive line that was decimated by injuries. We had our three starting WR's miss a combined 24 games. The defense was among the very best in the league, however, and there's little reason to expect any regression on that side of the ball.

It makes sense that we would fill some perceived holes via free agency and address others in the draft. There's already a solid bit of talent on both sides of the ball. The other three teams in the division are no more poised to do any damage than us this season. All three have major questions at QB and have had extensive turnover in the coaching ranks.

Yes, I too would like to see the Saints win a Super Bowl in the next decade. Going into the gutter first is not an avenue that I would expect to guarantee anything.

I guess we'll just have to see how things play out and hope for the best, don't you agree?
