I'd like to try and get Derek Carr
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I originally wanted Derek Carr for the Saints. However, I just don't think we can afford him. I know we can afford him, but I'm talking about the future cap hits that we roll back which prevent us from building ...

I originally wanted Derek Carr for the Saints. However, I just don't think we can afford him. I know we can afford him, but I'm talking about the future cap hits that we roll back which prevent us from building the team even further. I would rather invest that money in the team in a position other than quarterback. But that won't happen because the front office is all about win now and pay whatever the cost later.
