I like Bronson alot, but he’s not going to be an edge rusher on a CSP led team. He projects, if he’s on the roster at all, as a replacement for Malcolm Brown, a player who eats up a lot of space inside the guards and who doesn’t let the running back through to the next level. Assuming that to be the case, he’s rarely been successful as the run stuffing DT, allowing successful run plays at exactly the 50% mark. In 2019, he stuffed runs only twice out of 166 run plays against him. 2020 wasn’t improved by any large margin either, but Washington only played 4 games, too small a sample to compare year over year. His best plays came as an end/edge putting pressure on the QB, evidenced by the video. How many designed run plays were shown as highlighted wrt his play?

I hope he makes the practice squad, but I don’t understand where he fits in the rotation. His best work comes as a pressure guy, and I just don’t see him breaking into that rotation. The Saints have him listed as the 3rd string LDT, behind Roach and Ringo. I hope he can be coached up to being a dedicated NT..., but that’ll take time.

I’m not sure how his playing End in a 3-4 translates to the LDT in a 4-3.

You have a good point there about casual fans reading the devils advocate remarks. Maybe we should follow that with a disclaimer stating that we really love each other and respect everything that posters say....or we could just not take it personally and answer with an intelligent rebuttal. Oh well, never mind. I'm just dreaming.
