Another positive to take away - it was clear from this game that Payton Turner is now our DE2, if not DE1, as Cam Jordan is definitely slowing down now... While I believe in rotating, keeping DEs fresh, it's Cam that should've been coming out more for Granderson, especially on 3rd downs, as he was obviously gassed... Granderson has no business being in there on early downs as he doesn't have the sand in his arse to anchor the edge vs the run... Thought our DTs played above expectations, especially in goal line defense; they got lit up by tight officiating, but as said earlier, they gotta pick their spots... |
