RB2 is a bigger need than many Saints fans probably realize; Kamara is not a bell cow RB1, he needs to split those carries...

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
I pay Armstead and give up a pick for this guy. Can't pay both Armstead and Williams without pushing the cap into more he!!. LT are at a premium and priority. I know you've seen this O, they need more help than the D. I'm not much about giving up picks to often but to get a Sharper type S I would.

Kind of hard to speculate now because we don’t know who our coach and coordinators are going to be. We could be looking for different skill sets than our previous regime.

That's going to be a biggest factor in everything. Maybe trades involved, different looking look on the O and the D? I"m just hoping we could drop the cap a great deal this season at least to be in decent shape to manuver. Lots of question marks. Damn Paytons hide.

A very good point. Say for example that we would switch to a 3-4, that would require quite som changes to the defensive personell. Or if we would go to a real smash mouth run offence, same thing.

Pay a Top 3 Safety, secure the best defense in the league? Definitely. Why weaken the secondary by not re-signing the lynch pin? Folks need to get past his one rookie gaffe... |
