this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; My general feeling is to not sign Armstead, instead spend money on a free agent WR. Then, draft a Tackle in first round and a WR in the second. Just my opinion....

Anybody watching the Senior Bowl? I have to say, QB Malik Willis is looking better than I expected. Good pocket awareness and keeping his eyes down the field when he escapes pressure.

What I'm saying is I'm reluctant to invest a 1R pick in one when offensive line is as bad as it is right now and we can't give our QBs time, and the investment in Kamara... I'd rather see us secure an affordable, proven FA WRz like a DJ Chark or Christian Kirk opposite CantGuardMike, and draft WRs on Day 2 and Day 3... WR-X (2) 13 - Michael Thomas, 1 - Marquez Callaway , 17 - Kevin White (RFC 2022)WR-S (2) 00 - Day 2 Pick, 00- Day 3 Pick 80 - Kawaan Baker (RFC 2022), 84 - Lil’Jordan Humphrey (RFA 2022)WR-Z (2) 00 - D.J Chark/Christian Kirk, 11 - Deonte Harty (RFA 2022) , 17 - Jalen McCleskey (RFC 2022), 18 - Easop Winston (RFC 2022)Wouldn't mind seeing a Kawann Baker, Kevin White, Jalen McClesky making the next step into that 4/5/6 WR spot(s) either... |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
Don't know if y'all seen NT Noah Ellis (Saints LB Kaden Ellis lil' brother), well, he's not so little, he's 6' 4", 359 lbs, and he's really been showing some tremendous mobility...
If he dropped 19 lbs, he'd be an instant upgrade for us at NT; and Saints have been known to value in-house insight on draft picks... |

Re: 2022 NFL Draft: Draft Prospects, Scouting
I'm still looking at S in the 1st. Then O-line then TE( possile vice versa), to many good FA WR this year not to take advantage of it. Maybe next season looking for a #1 WR in the draft, going to depend on how Thomas acts. If it's diva Thomas, yeah, if it's keep his head down and play Thomas ,no.
