As to post #30, it had nothing to do with what your wishes were for the outcome of our games. You go back and read it. I simply referred to the "situation" we were in that you referenced. Then I made a generalization of how some people wish for for us to lose games. There was absolutely nothing argumentative about the post. I repeat, if someone wishes for our team to lose their games that is their prerogative. And I repeat I don't understand that, but it's just the way they feel. You have a nice day! |

Re: Which would you want? Win Out or Lose Out?
The thing is a question is posed in the form of would you suffer through bad outcome A or bad outcome B. Then, when someone makes a choice, the point is switched to frame it as the person is hoping for that bad outcome. It’s the old “do you still beat your wife” scenario.

Everybody wants the team to succeed. This thread is deliberately divisive. This thread was created by someone who wants (needs) to argue to feed his ego. Little needs a therapist. |

Both options are better than any of our receivers.

Re: Which would you want? Win Out or Lose Out?
As things currently stand we have better odds (26%) of making the playoffs than getting a top five pick (less than 1%).
With our win over the Bucs this weekend those playoff odds should climb even more! |

The draft is a crapshoot, so tanking doesn't really mean that the quality of the roster will improve with a marginal gain in draft order. It definitely means that the cap would be tighter, given that contract values are absolutely correlated to draft order. I voted for tank, not because of draft order, but because we need to develop talent on the roster, and to spare unnecessary injury to valuable starters. But if we win, I'm not going to complain. Still going to watch the game and jump from side-to-side on every play.
