Not sure what 'OK' is in your book, but he was defintely head and shoulders better than what followed his injury. If he was lacking 'something' perhaps it was SP being a 'Nervous Nelly' keeping the playbook vanilla during those first 7 starts... or maybe some weak links in the OL... or maybe even a lack of consistent WR talent to spread the field? I'll take that 14 TD/ 3 INT guy any day over what we've been struggling with since we were 5-2!
I honestly still don't get why some of us are so lukewarm to JW. The guy has does nothing but be a model QB for the Saints AD (After Drew). That and give us a good chance at getting some W's (when he's not trying to eat them)! What are guys looking for from him? |
