Sean Payton set this organization up nicely so that it runs smoothly with or without him. I would imagine that we would have another Lombardi long before we see the paper bags again. Who Dat!

Saw something a couple of days ago saying the Bears called but were told he wasn't interested.

Great Payton interview with Dan Patrick! Sounds like he knows a move to TV means a multi year commitment and wants to do it even while not ruling out coaching later.

I think the ownership matters a lot as well when it comes to sustained success - I'd imagine Mrs. Benson is at the top of the list in that regard.

Some question who would want to come to be the HC for the Saints with all the challenges they are facing, but on the flip side of that the Saints have a strong structural foundation as a franchise.

Loomis and Ireland are great partners for whoever becomes the next HC.

Is she the only female owner in the NFL?

No. Lions, Bears, and Titans also have female owners.

As I've heard more times than I can count, there are only 32 head coaching positions in the NFL and the least attractive of which is one of the most desired positions in sports.
