Re: Head Coach Search
Bieniemy is piece of trash. He's the type of coach that, if left in charge, will let the locker room destroy itself. Just my opinion. I'd rather not have him coaching the Saints. Him being a member of the Saints in any capacity would be ironic.

Re: Head Coach Search
I really don’t think we have much of a choice. Coaches won’t exactly be lining up at the door given our cap and Qb situation.
If you are trying to get your first chance as a HC you want to go with a team that’s trending up instead of one that’s just…trending. This is going to be a tough place to succeed for a while. I think DA is probably the safest bet right now. We can finally make a push for Gruden, or Urban Mayer for that matter. Wonder what the draft is going to look like now. |

Re: Head Coach Search
Me thinks there’s about to be a major coaching exodus from New Orleans. We are screwed any way you cut it.

Re: Head Coach Search
Some items to consider..
- If the organization does not have a succession plan in place for Sean Payton's replacement, Loomis should be gone. - If the organization did not know this was coming, Loomis should be gone. Surprises at this level only happen when there is a breakdown in relation ships and there being a breakdown in relation ships should have been a red flag to Loomis to get his ducks in order. - New coaches from outside tend to being in 'their people', and that has the potential of changing our defense which is in a very good place right now. - Sean should be considered done, and gone. Never to return again as that statement from him just broke the confidence of every player on that team. His replacement should be brought in ASAP to begin the transitions. As far as the offense is concerned no changes would make it less consistent, clean the house. Many probably loved Sean and will start looking anyway just like Sean loved Drew and once Drew was gone so was his love of going to work each day. ![]() |

He basically indicated what you said, Oak, about Payton being done and gone. |

Re: Head Coach Search
There goes one of the possible landing spots for Dennis Allen. Perhaps their expectations was Allen remaining with the Saints. |
