Aaron Rodgers and now Russell Wilson have no chance at happening. I wonder if the Saints had any chance at Wilson, the Saints could have easily matched Denver's offer, I have to assume Seattle wanted no part of Wilson staying in the NFC. Winston's market may have just expanded a bit too, now Seattle needs a replacement for Wilson.

The Broncos gave up 2 1st round picks, 2 2nd round picks, a 5th, Drew Lock & one other (Noah Fant) player.

IMO that's a lot & can cripple a franchise for years. Let's check back on Denver in a year or two.

Saints have too many other things to address.

I was thinking the same thing. The days of a Brett Farve trade for a #2 are way over. Salaries are super out of hand. And don't think Gambling Interests won't interject in some way with many of these player movements. Just projecting with the betting lines out there. And they have some silly bets out there for the stupidest things.

Prop bets have been a thing since long before the gambling industry ever became NFL corporate sponsors. You could bet on the winner of the coin toss or the duration of the National Anthem, et al, for decades.

On the salary front, while player pay appears be growing at a tremendous rate, it is the essentially same ratio of the overall cap as it has been all along. That is, as we all know, mandated by the CBA. If revenues increase by 15% per year the cap is mandated to increase by the same percentage and total salaries, in turn, are forced to keep pace. In relative terms the players are being paid basically the same rate as they were 30 years ago.

So know you're a gaming expert too? I bet you don't have a clue. How 'bout that bet? Bah hahahaha.

If we "all know", then why on Earth do you insist on posting it here? To make yourself feel valid? In relative terms you're no smarter now than the last tweet you stole. I bet your poor mirror wants a divorce...

I feel like our biggest competition for FA QB's is going to be Pittsburgh, at this point. Best case scenario, we get Winston or Bridgewater back. It will be really interesting to see what we can even do with our cap situation.

(Hey, everybody, not sure if you remember me, but I'm back after a lengthy absence. Couldn't take dealing with the dumb facebook fans anymore.)
